Formerly of the NYC goth/punk band Blood Angora (1998-2003), Elena Scalise has played legendary dives ranging from ABC NO RIO to CBGB's. She created The End of Midnight as a solo project on no particular fall day in 2008 to channel a variety of influences, which include vintage B-movie horror soundtracks, 60's surf guitar, 50's rockabilly, creepy abandoned houses, love, broken hearts, and humor.
